Matthew graduated from Warwick University Business School with an Honours degree in Business Studies and German before joining Goldman Sachs in London. Matthew began his career within Investment Banking Operations, working with Institutional clients before moving into the Investment Banking division on the EMEA Equity Syndicate desk, reaching Executive Director responsible for the marketing, execution and pricing of significant financing and capital raising transactions for the corporate client base. This role involved building relationships with senior leaders of global issuing firms and buy-side investment managers (Pension Funds, Insurance Funds and Hedge Funds) and provided a full technical understanding of the front-to-back product lifecycle within a top-tier financial institution. More recently Matthew has held senior VP roles at Barclays Investment Bank and Morgan Stanley.
Matthew has been the "hands-on" Managing Director of Red for 10 years and has built an excellent network within the industry, responsible for driving the overall strategy, financial and operational management of the business.
